Hello, my name is Maureen Wood and I have practised as a pharmacist in New Zealand for 35 years, having owned two pharmacies, managed many, and worked as a locum while bringing up 4 children. I am from a medical family with two of my adult children and a daughter-in-law who are medical doctors.
I studied homeopathy for many years and have witnessed its healing powers in patients in my pharmacy. Also I am passionate about the study of nutrition.
I have hands on knowledge and experience and am in the unique position of observing homeopathy at work in patients.
As a pharmacist I formulated my own medicines and ointments, developed a mail order business for my unique cough medicine and also made my own Rescue remedies (Bach flowers).
In 1990 I set up a new pharmacy in Papamoa, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand called "Chemist Maureen Ltd" - I had great dreams of forming a unique "health & wellness" medical centre incorporating all "complimentary" (new name for "alternate" in New Zealand) medicines including Indian "Ayurvedic" medicine. I had a dream of having overview knowledge of every modality and then taking the best of each for individual patients.
Sadly MS ruined it all for me but I have new hope of now that I have started on the Esperanza NeuroPeptide as I firmly believe (as Hippocrates did) "that the body will heal itself if it is cleaned of all toxins and given the right medicine". I would dearly love to help all the friends I have with MS by getting them onto Esperanza Neuropeptide.

Osteopath Reviews Esperanza NeuroPeptide Patient
OSTEOPATHIC DOCTOR SUBMITS A REVIEW OF
ESPERANZA NEUROPEPTIDE PATIENT CHARLOTTE

Since Charlotte's first dose of the NeuroPeptide in Troon on 19th June 2007, I have noticed a strengthening of the left hip flexors along with an improved dorsi-flexion of her left foot. Charlotte has herself reported a more balanced leg kick when swimming front crawl.
This has led to an improved balance in her low thoracic, upper lumber para-spinal muscle balance. Note that before she was using her right para-spinal muscle group to help lift her left leg mechanically. I have always made sure that her low thoracic/upper lumbar spines have been kept mobile. Recently there has been less of a need for me to treat these areas.
Charlotte’s cranio-sacral rhythm has strengthened in depth and vitality and it is not diminished even when she feels tired. The persistent sub-occipital (upper neck) pressure is still evident. But I know she is doing more than before and the resultant tiredness reflects in an over-strain of this area. I find that all MS sufferers are prone to pressure in the base of the spine and benefit from having it decompressed on a regular basis.
Charlotte is able to cross her left leg over her right when sitting but not repeatedly. She now moves in a more positive fashion from resting and walks with her left heel down when not tired. She still tires late in the day, but her horizons are farther i.e. she is doing more than she was. If she strays from her diet she still suffers the following day, but a recent short course of antibiotics did not appear to affect her adversely, this is unusual for MS sufferers in my experience.
In summary the situation so far is a case of fluctuation in symptom pattern with an overall slow improvement. Charlotte's MS is secondary progressive and I wonder how much of her improvement is stabilised by my treatment. i.e. The changes in her musculo-orthopaedic balance are kept in check by the releasing of spinal restrictions as they occur. I check her on a weekly basis and will update her review periodically.
Charlotte’s MS is secondary progressive multiple sclerosis with left side weakness and balance problems, she is able to walk unaided. She also follows the Roger McDougall diet plan that is endorsed by Jan de Vries.

ESPERANZA PEPTIDE: IMPORTANT "Do's and Don'ts"
Having now spoken to most of our patients it is clear that many people would benefit from being reminded of a few of our IMPORTANT tips on how to best help the Esperanza Peptide to help your body:
Please DO:
- Try not to swallow for 10 seconds after taking 3 sprays under your tongue
- Make sure that you do not let any liquid or food into your mouth for 15 minutes after your second set of 3 sprays. This includes showering or cleaning your teeth.
- Drink at least 4 glasses of WATER a day. This flushes toxins out of your body and helps the peptide to work well.
- Make sure that you get three FULL sprays, wait 5 minutes then three more FULL sprays. Please get help to take the sprays if you struggle alone.
- Become a "morning doser" knowing that you have fresh peptide helping you throughout the waking day.
- On extra busy days, or a day when you feel run down, take an EXTRA set of three FULL sprays. Limit this boosting to once every 7 to 10 days. Try to take this extra dose several hours after your main dose, before a busy evening for example.
- When your Peptide bottle is nearly empty, twist round the top of your bottle so that the "mouse tail" inside the bottle points downwards enabling all but the last drop of Peptide to be used as spray.
- Gentle exercises, even if sitting. Please phone Brian if you need some tips.
- Maintain a healthy and varied diet including fruit and vegetables.
Please DON'T:
- Drink a lot of carbonated DIET drinks, they have too many toxins.
- Try to do too much activity, try to live your life at 75% effort. To give 100% will still fatigue you and leave you feeling low.
- Over exercise. You should limit any increase in physical activity to 10% increase per week. (Athletes even abide by this principal). It is not good for any person to push their muscles far beyond what they are used to.
- Give in to that first cigarette in a while, please! It's not worth it!
- Take Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) alongside the Peptide unless your neurologist insists. The Peptide will be neutralised if you do so.

I have been consistently amazed at the benefitis of the Esperanza NeuroPeptide
I have been involved with Esperanza since early 2005 and I have been consistently amazed at the benefits of the Esperanza NeuroPeptide, even from day one! Meeting Eddie Cardinal our longest standing patient of 20 years was a real "eye opener" as to what is possible with Esperanza NeuroPeptide.
Having now attended many of the UK clinics from 2007 to date I am delighted to state that I am yet to be at a clinic where the clinical tests and results do not show a significant improvement in one or more of the areas analysed.
